DJ Short-e, a New Yorker, made the same decision his father made years earlier, he would venture away from his home on a quest for greater opportunities. In 1996, Short-e headed to Tampa, FL, where he quickly became an elite force in the nightlife and music scene. His undeniable talents lead him to perform at some of Tampa’s hottest clubs and lounges such as the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Blue Martini, Club Skye, Rain Lounge, Headliners, Hyde Park Café, Whiskey Park and many more.

In 2004, Short-e created and produced "The Short-e Show", a TV program, which features celebrity artist interviews, music videos and high profile red carpet events. The show first aired on UPN44 and immediately began to receive high ratings due to its entertaining and exclusive content. Akon, Neyo, Rick Ross, Pitbull, Sean Kingston, Wylef, and Flo-Rida are just a few names that have appeared on his show, along with a slew of Playboy Playmates, models and professional athletes.

With continued success in the music and entertainment industries, doors to other opportunities quickly opened. He gained tremendous exposure when, the cell phone giant T-Mobile chose him to star in a national internal video campaign, which highlights “A Day In The Life Of DJ Short-e” using his Sidekick cell phone.

After dominating the Tampa market, Short-e made his move back to the NYC area, where he was immediately hired as a special guest DJ by some of the city’s best promoters and biggest nightclubs. He was named Saturday Night monthly resident at the world famous Spotlight Live in Times Square and has made several guest appearances at venues such as Home & Guesthouse, Lotus, Hawaiian Tropic Zone, Prime, The Grand, Manor, Ultra Lounge & more. He also joined Power 105.1FM, one of city’s hottest radio stations, where he was called upon to produce videos for the stars and celebs when they stopped by for interviews or promos.

In 2008, Short-e further expanded his music outreach when he relocated to Miami, FL. where he continues to make special guest appearances as a DJ & Host. He also launched Hot4Eva LLC, which is an all around Entertainment Company and independent record label. Most recently, he has recorded and released his debut single titled “HOT4EVA”, which he performs LIVE during his open format DJ sets.
Stars and professional athletes are often spotted at his shows because of the feel good vibe and sexy atmosphere Short-e is able to create through his unique sound & style. By utilizing his experience and resources, Short-e will surely remain a creative and productive artist for many years to come. His style and sound are often imitated but never duplicated.
